Millets also known as “Shree Anna” are ancient grains native to India, recognized globally for their nutrition and sustainability. They grow quickly (in just 45–60 days), need little water, and thrive in tough soil, making them eco-friendly and affordable. Packed with essential vitamins and minerals, millets are often hailed as “Nutricereals” for their remarkable nutritional profile. Their health benefits have drawn renewed global interest, especially after the United Nations, in collaboration with the FAO, declared 2023 the International Year of Millets during its 75th General Assembly.
