Indian Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology’s school modules were created to create awareness among teachers and parents regarding some of the important childhood hormonal conditions. As they spend more than half of their waking hours at school, they become our children’s second homes. Being aware of basic concepts of growth and puberty, and its normal and abnormal deviations will help parents and teachers identify any problems early on and seek medical advice in a timely manner. We hope pediatricians and pediatric endocrinologists will make use of these modules while educating the parent and teacher groups.
